AMP Racing was founded and the doors of our race shop were opened on May 13th, 2006 with the arrival of our first race car for Allen.  The next week Allen competed in his first Super Stock race at Deep South Speedway and had a 6th  place finish.  Our race team is primarily a family operation with Mom, Dad, Trevor and Allen.  Obviously, we have had help from many special people.  Allen completed the 2006 season finishing 6th in points, only running half the season, and in 2007 won the Super Stock division championship by beating out a veteran and nine time track champion by just a few points.
